BAM Superior Solutions to deliver 170kW Commercial Solar Power System for Sedona Public Library
Sedona, Arizona, October 25, 2016– BAM Superior Solutions (http://www.bamsuperiorsolutions.com) announced today plans for a 170 kilowatt Commercial Solar Power System to provide electricity for the nonprofit Sedona Public Library. The renewable energy system consists of solar arrays installed on the roof of the Library as well as on Solar Carports which also provide needed shade in the parking areas. BAM estimates that 75-80 percent of the Library’s energy will be offset as a result, saving over $1.2 million in electricity costs over the next 25 years.
“Libraries and other nonprofits work hard to maximize value from their limited resources. Any reduction in utility cost allows them to redirect their limited resources to mission oriented programs, faculty support, or additional facility upgrades. BAM’s solution provides them with the ability to enhance their operating budgets by providing cost savings on electric bills and security against potential utility rate increases, with no upfront capital investment,” said Jimi Holt, CEO at BAM. “It is extremely rewarding to help businesses, especially nonprofits like the Sedona Public Library, be more sustainable and achieve significant savings while inspiring the Sedona Community with innovation and the great potential of solar power.”
